You Do Not Want to Miss Out on This Great Sale

First of all, I know that it has been some time since this page has been updated.  This is due some health issues that I have been suffering with for the past few months.  It has been difficult to do some of my daily tasks, so keeping up with the business just has not been a priority.  My health was more important.

For this reason, it is with a heavy heart that I came to the decision to close my business, Kimberz Kreations, for the time being.  Since surgery last summer, I have really been struggling with using my hand.  I feel that this has affected the quality of the greeting cards that I have created.  This is just not ok with me.  I also am having difficulty with creating cards in great numbers as I used to be able to do.

After the holidays, I became very ill and no treatment was working.  Coupled with my fibromyalgia, I have been struggling terribly for the past 4 months just to function.  Everything with fibromyalgia is more difficult!  This is the worst I have had it in a very long time.

I appreciate all of my customers and will miss interacting.  But, I believe this is the best for me at this time.  But not to worry, I am clearing out a lot of my old stock and hundreds of items that I use to create my cards.

I wanted to share more of my Thank You Collections that will be available for sale.

All thank you cards are left blank on the inside so that you can add your own personalized greeting.

Thank You Never Looked So Beautiful

This set of thank you cards are beautiful and elegant.  Each card has a different font and style of "thank you" greetings.  Four cards in this set have three-dimensional roses.  The other four cards have a beige background with lovely gold-colored embellishments and a large, satin gold bow.

All cards are left blank on the interior so that they can be personalized to each customer.

The look and appeal of three-dimensional cards cannot be marched by ordinary cards.  However, they do have one issue that most people do not consider.  They are not the best card to slip into an envelope and put in the mailbox.  There are several reasons for this: 1) postage is usually more than a usual flat card because 2) this type of card cannot be ran through the USPS sorting machines.  This means that they must be hand-sorted which costs more.  And finally, 3) the mailing process itself can damage the embellishments on the card.

None of this means that you cannot send a three-dimensional card through the USPS, rather it means that you should keep a few things in mind when sending them in this fashion.  First, if you are planning on sending a three-dimensional card through USPS, don't use the normal paper envelope.  Instead, consider using a padded envelope and/or a box.  Second, consider only delivering this types of cards by hand.

Either way you choose to send a three dimensional card, your recipient is going to be blown away by their beauty and crafting.

New and Exciting Thank You Designs

It's hard to believe that we are already in April.  Seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the holidays.  It has been a busy three months for me, but opening day is quickly approaching.  I have had some minor set backs, and of course, life always seems to get in the way.

It is nice having a job that I love. creating.  My physical condition does not allow me to do as much as I used to or even as much as I would like.  Over the past 8 years, I have been suffering with a debilitating condition in my left hand and thumb.  Even though I am right-handed, sometimes certain activities require the use of both hands.  Pinching, squeezing or even pressure can make my card making difficult at times.

Approximately every three months or so I stroll in to the orthopedic surgeon for a lovely cortisone injection that I pray will last longer than the last.  Occasionally I am lucky enough to get about 8-10 weeks of relief.  Recently, though, this has not been the case.  I am lucky if I get 6-8 weeks of relief.

As I am told by my surgeon, the only surgery to fix this condition is normally only performed on patients that are over the age of 60.  At age 45, I am a long way from fitting into that category.  Until then, I try injections, creams, medication or any other crazy thing that I think may give me relief.

I have told you this story so that others who suffer from fibromyalgia coupled with rheumatoid arthritis understand that you may not always be able to do ALL the things you would like, but you can use those good days to take the time to do something you love.

As promised, I wanted to share a few of my new designs in thank you cards.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have in creating them. 

I enjoy designing and creating thank you cards of all sorts.  I always try to keep in mind that some people really like color, but some enjoy a simpler neutral color palette.

These new sets will be available in my stores soon.  They offer a mixture of color and neutrality.

It can never be said enough; Thank You!  Don't forget to tell people in your life, "Thank You". 

It is often thought but not always said.  I created this collection to be sure that everyone has the opportunity not only to say Thank You, but to receive a Thank You too.

I wanted to bring color to this collection.  With spring right around the corner, this particular set made me feel warm inside.  Thoughts of spring flowers and summer beach days swirled in my head. 

Work has never been what I call my job.  Creating!  That is what I do for a living.

This is one of my favorite sets in my Thank You Collection.  I love the variety of colors.

There is still so much more to come in this collection.  I am excited to be able to make them available for sale online soon.

In redesigning my cards and blog, I have chosen to take this time out to redesign my Ebay store as well.  I will be opening an Etsy store soon.  This will provide you with multiple options for purchasing a vast selection of my cards.

More Thank You's For You

Today I am presenting you with another peek at the new Thank You Card Collection.

For all my customers and friends, I thought that there was no better way to say thank you for your patience through my long move than to provide you with new designs of thank you cards. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

This set of Boho-style cards made me stretch my creative ideas.  I am a designer who enjoys color (immensely), but I have never been crazy about paisley or the boho style.  I must admit that I struggled at first, but the finished product is making me rethink my bias.

Always remember to be as creative as you can be.  Many studies have shown that keeping the mind working with hobbies such as reading, painting or any kind of creative endeavor helps you live a longer, healthier life.

Each of us has a creative streak (even when we question it).  See what you can create today.

I always use quality products when making these cards.  Brilliant colors and textures are key to keeping each card attractive to the eye.  Although this set does not have as many embellishments as others, I try to understand that not everyone likes "clutter" on their cards.  I, personally, think that more is better when it comes to embellishments.  What is a better way to build up and inter-mix colors and design?  Embellishments are everything!

Purple is always a winner, especially with woman.  To me, it is a colorful black in that it goes with just about any other color.
