More Thank You's For You

Today I am presenting you with another peek at the new Thank You Card Collection.

For all my customers and friends, I thought that there was no better way to say thank you for your patience through my long move than to provide you with new designs of thank you cards. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

This set of Boho-style cards made me stretch my creative ideas.  I am a designer who enjoys color (immensely), but I have never been crazy about paisley or the boho style.  I must admit that I struggled at first, but the finished product is making me rethink my bias.

Always remember to be as creative as you can be.  Many studies have shown that keeping the mind working with hobbies such as reading, painting or any kind of creative endeavor helps you live a longer, healthier life.

Each of us has a creative streak (even when we question it).  See what you can create today.

Thanks again for stopping by to see what I am creating now.

Thank You Card Collection - More to Love

You were promised more to see in the new Thank You Card Collection.  I am here to see that you have the opportunity to see that each set is more beautiful than the last.

Each set contains 8 cards in 2 different designs.  Cards are individually handmade to make them perfect to say Thank You to anyone in your life.

I would love to hear from you.  Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I always use quality products when making these cards.  Brilliant colors and textures are key to keeping each card attractive to the eye.  Although this set does not have as many embellishments as others, I try to understand that not everyone likes "clutter" on their cards.  I, personally, think that more is better when it comes to embellishments.  What is a better way to build up and inter-mix colors and design?  Embellishments are everything!

Purple is always a winner, especially with woman.  To me, it is a colorful black in that it goes with just about any other color.

Keep watching for more collections.

Your Patience Has Paid Off! Sneak Peek at New Designs

It has been a long time since I have been able to show you new designs.  Today, your patience is paying off.  I have several new cards to unveil over the next couple of weeks.  You are invited to share your thoughts and suggestions on all of them.  In fact, I encourage it!

This set includes eight handmade cards.  Each thank you card is individually handmade and no two are ever exactly the same.  The inside is left blank so that you can include your own sentiment.  These cards can be used to say thank you in a multitude of ways.

As a reminder to those of you are either unfamiliar or new to my cards, please expect inperfections.  As stated before, the cards are as imperfect as I am.

I am so excited to be bringing new designs to all of my customers and friends.  Be prepared to see even more new designs in the coming days.  It will not be long now before you will be able to shop and purchase cards from multiple locations online.

Keep checking back as new designs in Thank You and Birthday cards come available.
You should expect even bigger changes coming soon.

Thanks so much for your patience and coming back to visit!
STAY CREATIVE!

Kimberz Kreations is Coming Back Soon!

Big changes to Kimberz Kreations are coming soon.

New card designs are being created and will be online soon for your viewing pleasure.  It has been a long time since designs were available to the public.

Where have we been, you ask?  Eighteen months ago, the decision was made to "temporarily" shut down.  This was never meant to last eighteen months, however, life did get in the way.  Much of my time was spent putting our home on the market and participating in the build and design of our new home.  It was completed on November 1, 2016.

I have spent much of the past couple of months trying to get things unpacked and organized in the middle of the holiday rush.  The good news, I am back up and running.

All the ideas that have been floating around in my head have been busting at the seams.  They are ready to come out.

I have tentatively set March 1 for the relaunch.  Our Ebay store will be revamped and I am hoping to include an Etsy store in the near future.  I plan on launching with new birthday and Christmas card designs.  From there, we will have to see what the future brings.

Stay tuned for these exciting new designs and changes to our stores.  We appreciate your patience with all the changes.  I only hope that you are as excited as I am.

Valentine's Day Cards - Pink & Black

Some of my favorite color combinations include those with some black and/or gray.  Pinks always pop a lot more when using a black to contrast.

These cards are rather simple cards that anyone can create with a few cards, a couple of sheets of printed paper, some ribbon or flower embellishment and some glue.  If you are trying to find cards that are quick and easy to put together, these will help build your skills.

For all the beginners out there, the best advice I have available to you is this:  Do not try to create the complicated and time consuming cards of your dreams.  You know the ones you see on Pinterest and are blown away by.  Those cards are mainly created by more advanced card makers.

This does not mean give and only make the easier cards.  This means, that gorgeous card is the goal you strive for in your creativity.  When I first started making cards, I almost gave up because I couldn't create a gorgeous card everytime.  None of my cards looked like the ones in the magazines (pre-Pinterest).  I got discouraged time and time again.  In fact, I actually quit creating cards and started making gift baskets instead.  I stayed in that funk for a few years.

When Pinterest came along a few years ago, my creativity was sparked again.  I wanted to learn and create the cards I so loved making in the first place.  I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of tutorials and tried, tried, tried.  Here I am.  I am finally doing this for a living.

What did I learn most from my experience?  I learned that not every card is meant to be complicated, and not every card should be perfect.  That is why they call them handmade or handcrafted.  We are human.  Humans are not perfect.  If you look closely enough at any handcrafted item, it is not perfect.  It was not meant to be.

Go out there and create!  You can do it!!

If you have any suggestions or comments for me, please do not hesitate.  I love to hear from my customers and followers.

In the meantime, if you would like to see all the items that I currently have available for sale, stop by my Ebay store, Kimberz Kreations .  I have cards available, as well as embellishments and supplies to make your own cards.

Pretty in Pink - Valentine's Day is Coming

I'm back!

I survived the holidays!  I may feel like I have been through a small war of sorts, but, as you, I survived it.  Sad that some of us (ME!) cannot just make ourselves set back and enjoy the holidays rather than work through the holidays, trying to make everything perfect.  Each year perfect gets further and further away.  Guess I have always been an over-achiever.  I digress.  That is for therapy....LOL.

My second most favorite holiday is upon us.  Valentine's Day!  The day for lovers.

I am excited to bring you my first series of Valentines.  For some reason, I usually bypass making cards for Valentine's Day.  This year, I wanted to go all out.  I hope that you enjoy my kreations.

I decided that if I were going to make Valentines, I would definitely have to break out some of my stamp sets and embossing folders that rarely get used.  I think I have the hang of it.  Here are a couple of my favorites.

I hope you enjoy this series of cards as much as I have enjoyed creating them.  Keep checking back for more Valentine's Day cards to come.  I am also working on my newest series of birthday cards.

As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome.
